Create a Web App
We aim to provide a service that allows users to rent gadgets to venues like your back garden for a period of time to use wherever and whenever they want. Rent out unused items Give your items somewhere to go when they’re not in use Earn quick money You do the renting, we will sort out the rest Bringing a community together to allow each other to get items they need during this period.
We discuss the designs carried out to help with implementation and look of the application. We carried out wire framing designs and a database schema to help with the structure of my web application. Before designing the way Rapirent application would look, we created a site map to help with wire framing the whole web application and to make it clear with what would go on to each page of the web app. This had also helped with creating the paper prototype for each step and design of the web application.
Planning to develop the webapp. decided to split it to 3 different sections. Database, Front End and Back End. One is the Front end where users can access and view the website, bookings and items. The other is the Back end for an administrator which would be managing the website, so that they can add, edit entities on the website such as Categories, Bookings, Items, Users that have created an account, and create or edit users.
RapiRent is a project currently undertaking a new build and launch for the web application and will be back up soon.
